Baily Winery

Location: 3344, La Serena Road, Temecula, CA

Cost: 6 different 1 Oz wines of your choice only $20

“We stopped by with our dog for a tasting on Saturday. Reservation is not required for the tasting room, but arrive before 16:00. There is plenty of free parking…. Good-natured, leashed dogs are allowed to accompany you. There is a nice grassy area with tables to hang out.” (Jackie)

With a fantastic staff and an even more amazing selection of wines, Baily Vineyards & Winery is the best value for money. Since they are a pet-friendly vineyard, you will find that they have plenty of space to sit outdoors with stunning views of the entire property.

It is one of the best photo locations for a birthday photo shoot, engagement photos or even a bachelorette party. You can let your pet wander around the courtyard while you sit and sip different specialty wines.

If you’re uncomfortable with sitting outside, you can also sit inside their stone building, which has a much more relaxed and rustic feel. They have a simple and convenient method for wine tasting sessions, which makes it even more appealing for first-time visitors to recommend the place to others.

For $20 you get 6 different coins or vouchers for 6 wines you can taste. You can exchange one of your chips for each wine flavor so you don’t have to sit inside and drink them all at once. You can wander around, explore the property and return to the bar for another drink whenever you feel like it.

Address: 33233 Rancho California Rd, Temecula, CA

Cost: You can taste four different wines that come in 2 oz. There are different fares for each type: you’ll pay $22 for the Sweet or White Flight and $25 for the Red Flight.

“Girls day in Temecula wine country was amazing. This was the second stop for us but a first class experience. We had a Groupon and it was 100% worth it. The wine was really great and so was the service. The bar area was large so it wasn’t too crowded. There was a sitting area which was nice and lots of staff to serve. LOVED their Mango Sparkling Wine which was out of this world! I can’t wait to go back.” (Moni G)

Churon Winery, a vineyard winery, is also a frequent destination for many wine lovers. Established in 2001, it spans 12 acres and is owned by Judy and Ron Thomas.

If I had to pick a downside, you don’t have a large selection of wines despite drinking more ounces. Unlike other wineries I’ve visited, Churon Winery only had three wine flight options, red, white and sweet.

Other than that, if you’re looking for romantic things to do in the area, this is your go-to place. They follow the very rustic chateau style aesthetic, making it even more luxurious, especially considering the price you pay. Many people come here for engagement photos and summer or winter photo shoots so you can put on a dress and take your photos with a nice background to match.

And the best part? This place is super pet friendly so don’t worry about your pet being left alone as you explore the best wineries in Temecula. For a value-for-money experience, Churon Winery is one of the best Temecula wineries to visit.

Address: 37750 De Portola Road, Temecula, CA

Cost: For $22, you can sample six different wines. But I don’t count the tax. Taste flights for these 6 wines may vary depending on the time of year, but there is always a choice of white and red flights.

This location is not too far from San Diego city, so you don’t have to worry about where to stay in Temecula if you’re visiting this winery. Take a day trip to the city center and after this session, head to the hotel restaurants for wine tasting and lunch.

It’s also the perfect place for your four-legged friend to run around and mingle with people and other pets. To me, the best thing about Gershon Bachus Vintners was that their staff ensured that their wine tasting room was always closely watched by experts who will talk to you on every experience.

They place a very high priority on customers’ experience and enjoyment; therefore, you will find their staff to be friendly and knowledgeable. The best part is that the place overlooks the ocean, so you will always feel a light and calming breeze in your hair while sipping fine wines.

They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so if you’re with your furry friend, you can choose to sit outside while keeping an eye on your pet. You can also sit in the Barrel Room, which is commonly used for such tasting events.

Oak Mountain winery is a fun place to visit. It’s a kid-friendly space with the feel of an old town valley where pets are allowed, so you can sit wherever you want with your four-legged dog. The unique thing about Oak Mountain winery is its cave, which is open to visitors for tours.

However, for security reasons, dogs are not allowed in the cave. As with the Baily winery, you get a voucher for all your wine tastings so you can take your time and wander around the venue with your pet and come back to the bar for a drink whenever you want. This freedom is one of the best parts of Oak Mountain Winery.

This place is famous so if you visit on weekends it can be cramped with many visitors. However, if you’re lucky, this is a great outdoor space for you and your dog to relax. You may even decide to sit indoors with your dog if it’s too hot to sit outside.

Callaway Vineyard and Winery, Temecula

Address: 32720 Rancho California Rd, Temecula, CA

Cost: $20 for tasting 6 different 1oz wines

“Callaway has breathtaking terrains suitable for great photo shoots. Ambience and crowd are on a higher level and wines were of higher quality compared to other stops we’ve been to…” (sweet and salty)

With over 50 years in the industry, your search for the best wineries in Temecula is sure to be incomplete without visiting the Callaway vineyard and winery. They have a wide selection of wines to taste, so you can choose which one you want to taste.

A major downside to this place is that although it is pet friendly, they do not allow dogs into their wine tasting room. Only allowed in vineyard lands. Therefore, if it is a scorching day and you have visited the place with your dog, you may want to bring extra sun protection as you cannot enter the room with your dog.

This place is a true paradise for dogs and their people due to the natural look and layout of the buildings and vineyards. Although a bit restrictive on where pets are allowed, it is a truly breathtaking place where your dog can also enjoy the most beautiful scenery.

Address: 37338 De Portola Road, Temecula, CA

Cost: Somerset Winery and Vineyard have different costs on different weekdays. You pay $20 for the tasting if you visit from Thursday to weekdays, and $25 if you visit from Friday to Sunday.

Of all the wineries I’ve visited in Temecula, this was one of the most enjoyable experiences because of their wonderful staff who made your stay as eventful as possible. They also allow pets to participate in wine tours, which was a first; plus, they show the entire winemaking process, which is a complete behind-the-scenes learning experience.

They have a great selection of wines so you can go to the bar whenever you want and ask for a glass to be poured while listening to the story behind the making of the wine from one of the experienced pourers.

The best part about this place is that they have a gift shop where you can buy fun souvenirs for yourself or your friends.
